Nothing quite like the memory of long Summer days from my childhood. Even on the hottest days, there was a promise of a cool breeze, a dip in the pool or ocean and the later bedtimes that daylight savings gifted us. Life takes us through all the seasons, literally and metaphorically: the cold and warm days the ups and downs. We look forward to the seasons in the sun, treasuring the joy and golden moments they leave behind.
This is an original black ink illustration with painted yellow gouache on Bainbridge Illustration board. Illustration measures 8 × 12 cm on A5 board measuring approximately 14.8 × 21cm.
