Jewellery Accessory Care Guide

For Earrings with Surgical Stainless Steel, Printed Resin & Glass Beads.

Thank you for choosing my fun earrings to brighten your day. To help you enjoy them for years to come, please follow the care guidelines below.

1. General Care

  • Store safely: Keep your earrings stored separately in a clean, dry and dark place, preferably in a soft pouch or a lined jewellery box to avoid scratches or tangles.

  • Avoid contact with chemicals: Remove your earrings before applying or using perfume, hairspray, lotions, sunscreen, or cleaning products.

  • Wear last, remove first: Put your earrings on after dressing and take them off before undressing to avoid snags or damage.

  • Handle with clean hands: Oils and dirt from skin can dull resin and glass components over time.

2. Surgical Stainless Steel

  • Low maintenance & hypoallergenic: All hooks, hoops and findings in my earrings are made from Surgical stainless steel which is highly resistant to tarnish and corrosion, and is ideal for sensitive ears.

  • Cleaning: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. For deeper cleaning, use warm water and mild soap. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

  • Avoid harsh polishes: Metal polishes or abrasives may damage the finish or surrounding resin/glass.

3. Printed Resin Components

  • Protect from extreme heat: Resin may soften or warp if exposed to high temperatures (e.g. direct sunlight, hot cars, or near heat sources).

  • Avoid water submersion: While a little moisture won’t harm, avoid soaking your resin jewellery (e.g., swimming, showering).

  • Clean gently: Use a microfiber or soft cotton cloth to wipe away dust or smudges. If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with water—never use alcohol or chemical cleaners, which may degrade the print or finish.

4. Glass Beads

  • Handle with care: Though glass beads are durable, they can chip or crack if dropped or hit against a hard surface.

  • Wipe after wear: A soft cloth will help maintain their natural shine and remove any oils or debris.

  • Avoid ultrasonic cleaners: These can cause tiny fractures in some glass components or damage the resin.

5. Things to Avoid

  • Prolonged water exposure (bathing, swimming)

  • Harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaning

  • Extreme heat or sunlight

  • Rough handling or dropping

6. Not suitable for children

·         These earrings look good enough to eat but unfortunately are not edible and should be kept out of the reach of tiny hands.
