As much as I wish I could be, I’m really not a morning person; however, a life with children really doesn’t leave you much choice in the matter. And I have to say, that on mornings when you take a moment to watch the sunrise and head outside for some morning exercise, it always feels like you have caught the best part of the day! I think you never regret getting up early but always regret when you stay up way too late! I love watching the activity of the birds in the morning as they fly around and flitter between the tree branches. We often have a flock of Sulphur-crested cockatoos that hang out on our local oval and this happy group of four found their way into my painting flying above the hills with views to the ocean and native flora below.

This is an original gouache painting on illustration board unframed. (2022)

Painted area measures approximately 210mm x 297mm (A4 size) on Bainbridge illustration board measuring 255mm x 380mm.

Painting will be signed on the front right corner.

As this is a gouache painting, it will need to be framed behind glass. I recommend custom framing but this painting will also fit in a ready-made frame with A4 mat opening.

Painting will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve with backing board and sent with sturdy packaging to keep it flat in transit.

Painting will be shipped Australia Post with a tracking number and will require a signature on delivery. Please let me know if you need Express Post.
